Teaching leadership
through connection.

My teaching philosophy is shaped by conversations with students and colleagues, my work as a researcher, and my earlier career as an industry executive. Across more than a decade, I have taught undergraduate, postgraduate and corporate learners in Australia, the United Kingdom, Thailand, China and Singapore.

Global coordination

Leadership across five locations

Led and coordinated a team of approximately 12 teaching colleagues delivering RMIT’s Leadership course to around 1,500 students each year across Melbourne, Singapore, China, Vietnam and online.

Research-led teaching

Scholarship shaping the classroom

Secured three learning and teaching grants and translated the resulting ideas into course redevelopment, peer-reviewed publications and three contemporary course monographs.

Industry engagement

Learning grounded in practice

Created the Global Industry Mindsets on Contemporary Leadership partnership series, connecting students with senior leaders including CEOs from ANZ, Zip Industries and UK-based companies.

Course success

Sustained student outcomes

RMIT Leadership enrolments grew from 150 in 2014 to approximately 600 in Melbourne in 2022. Overall Satisfaction remained above 80% from 2018–2023, while Good Teaching reached 91% in 2023.
